“Rowing was so much harder but also more fun than I thought. Through NCCR, I was able to experience rowing for the first time and not just the sport but also the history and how to do it right. I had so much fun making friends from all over town and not just from my school. We connected over different workouts, but NCCR was more than rowing and workouts. There were really good teamwork opportunities to learn and there was also financial literacy workshops and in a lot of ways, NCCR was a full person experience that I enjoyed and grew a lot from.
